ART is Everywhere!
The 2011 SCA ART GUIDE influenced over 15,000 kids to see and think about art in a whole new way.
SCA delivers ART to children in over 30 local schools, museums, libraries and community spaces in the South Coast area and beyond. Families are encouraged to visit area studios where they can learn more and appreciate the creative process. Keeping art alive is important to SCA.
The guide “provides” interactive art projects and leads young artists to consider and create using animals, people, and places.
The mini exercises can be done in a class, gallery, museum or studio.
The Family Guide is a free, hands on visual arts resource for exploring and learning through art.
South Coast Artists Workshops
SCA Workshops are active and participatory experiences that provide artists with creative, art-based strategies for learning and development. Registrants receive tools and materials to incorporate workshop concepts into your career development immediately. Workshop Leaders include regional educators, business professionals, community artists and cultural experts.
Open to SCA Members and Residents of the South Coast Region of MA & RI. Check back for workshop schedule.
