Anne Carrozza Remick believes in the understated beauty that belongs to the solitude of simple objects. She sees flowers as celebrations of life through shape and color, and finds optimism in her own breakfast table. In Anne’s still life paintings, the objects become personified through vibrant color. Over the years, Anne has painted her life - her family and strangers and the lovely places she has visited. Anne’s ultimate inspiration comes from time spent in nature, specifically her garden. Painting flowers from her own garden plays an important part in her creative process.
