South Coast Artists celebrates the holiday season with the 5th annual Holiday Arts Exhibit at the Dartmouth Cultural Center from Dec. 2-18. The cultural center is located in the heart of historic Padanaram Village, at 404 Elm Street, Dartmouth, MA.

SCA in the community: Artist Demonstrations at the Harvest Market!
This weekend, some SCA Member Artists will be exhibiting at the Tiverton Farmer’s Market Harvest Market, October 16th from 12:00-4:00 p.m. As part of SCA’s educational commitment, we are excited to share the process of our artists during this event. In its second year, the Harvest Market showcases the work of many local artists and farmers in out community. With over 100 vendors, music, food trucks, guided nature walks and ‘tent talks’ the event has something for everyone.
SCA Invitational Exhibit Comes to Westport
All are invited to the opening reception for the South Coast Artists Spring Invitational Exhibition on Friday, April 29, from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m., at Dedee Shattuck Gallery at 1 Partners’ Lane, Westport, MA.
2021 Youth Grant Recipient
We are pleased to announce South Coast Artists' 2021 youth grant recipient Madeline Peach, a student at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Madeline’s proposed project is titled: Understanding and Confronting Historical Ideas of the Body in Painting. The grant funds will allow her to “more deeply explore figurative works throughout history and contemporary art.” She will be conducting research through trips to galleries and major art museums in New York City. It will also provide funds for books, paint and other materials to produce a body of work relating to her research.
A New Year with New Inspiration
In continuing to evolve digitally, SCA now has a clean, new website, one that is much easier to navigate. It’s designed with the user in mind. There are virtual galleries that highlight artist members, special exhibitions and educational events.
