Mary Finsness is a potter working with stoneware primarily using colored clay in the Neriage/Agateware technique. She mainly creates functional ware on the pottery wheel carving pieces to accentuate the colors used. Mary chooses colors that are inspired by the beauty of earth, sky and water around her in her home studio on the Lees River in Swansea, MA.
