Sherri Feld is a fused glass artist from Tiverton.
Her fused glass art features unique, individually hand-cut pieces, crafted with vibrant colors and designed to be both functional and decorative. The creative process involves assembling individual pieces of colored glass, which are then fused together in a high-temperature kiln to create a single, flat panel. In a subsequent firing, the flat glass panels are reheated to soften and "slump" into molds, giving them a desired shape.
Sherri utilizes high-quality Bullseye Glass from Portland, Oregon, and all her creations are hand crafted in her basement / garage studio. She offers private classes and welcomes custom piece requests.
Sherri's artistic journey was deeply influenced by her mother, who served as both her mentor and inspiration in the world of fused glass. Following her mother's passing in 2023, Sherri moved her mother's studio from Florida to her Rhode Island home, carrying on her mother's artistic legacy and sharing her creations with others.
Beyond fused glass, Sherri also enjoys creating wall tapestries and rope bowls, further showcasing her artistic versatility.
