Susan Stranz has been drawing and painting local landscapes for many years. She draws upon her plein air studies from her many years on Cape Cod to her current home in Westport, MA. to create light filled landscapes. Susan is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and has studied with several leading watercolor artists. She holds Signature Membership in the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Master Artist designation at the Cape Cod Art Center, and is an Artist Member of the Copley Society in Boston. She has spent many years teaching drawing and watercolor classes at colleges and art centers in New England. Her work can be seen at the Copley Society, Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Cape Cod Art Center, New England Watercolor Society, and Women in Watercolor.
